Cunningham Falls State Park Hike / Caminata por el parque estatal de Cunningham Falls
We will hike 1.2 miles to the base of Cunningham Falls, a beautiful 78-foot waterfall. The hike starts on the Lower Falls Trail and then returns on the Cliff Trail. The Cliff trail is more strenuous and includes navigating around large boulders and walking on rocks that coud be slippery. You can do this!!! We will go slow and take breaks as needed. Lunch will be provided at the parking lot where we met. Then the 2nd Optional Hike will begin at 1:30 to Cat Rock and will end back at the parking lot around 4pm. Bring a day pack and water bottles, good hiking boots or trail sneakers, a hat or scarf, some trail snacks, toiletpaper in a ziplock bag, gloves, and your cell phone. DRESS IN LAYERS!
(Caminaremos 1,2 millas hasta la base de Cunningham Falls, una hermosa cascada de 78 pies. Se . La caminata comienza en el sendero Lower Falls Trail y luego regresa por el sendero Cliff Trail. There is also a wheelchair and stroller friendly option via the Boardwalk Trail which starts from a different parking lot. Please let us know if you need this trail.
